 Happy Wednesday, Crafty Friends!

I'm happy to be here sharing some products from the new Spellbinders Collection, Sweet Serenade Notecards. You can find all the products in the collection on the Spellbinders website, along with a lot of other fantastic products!

My first project uses the Lyrical Layered Florals stamp set. I love doing simple, one-layer cards like this one because they're beautiful but ALSO super easy to create!

I began by cutting a card panel that was slightly smaller than a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base. I placed the panel in my MISTI and used several different dye inks to stamp out the floral images. This stamp set is perfect for beginners because the steps are very easy and there's only a couple to do!

After I created the bottom floral cluster, I turned the panel around and then stamped the same floral cluster on that end of the panel as well to create the mirrored image.

After the floral clusters were done, I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment in black ink and then mounted the back of my panel with foam before gluing it down to a cut and scored 4.25 x. 5.5 inch pink card base,

For my next project, I used the Flourished Sonata Notecard Etched dies and cut out a couple different pieces using two of the dies. I also used some scrap paper in my stash for the scrolled background of the card. I glued these pieces down to a slimline-sized card base of ivory cardstock.

I used another one of the dies in the set and another piece of scrap paper to cut a the middle panel that fits into the scrolled edges. I mounted that with foam so that it would pop off the card a little bit!

I then used a "Thank You" die from the Die D-Lites Bold Type Thank You Etched die set and used a darker pink cardstock. I cut two sets and glued them together to give a bit more dimension.

To finish off the card, I used some floral stickers that I had in my scrapbook stash and adhered them down to the top and bottom of the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and checking out this new collection!

Kelly
